what song do you want to wake up to? break up to? go for a night time drive to? don’t know? use mine ➡️ 🎵🥃
part 2 of me talking to Kate & Grace from @instautonomy comes out tomorrow. it’s about this song and that song, songs for cleaning, songs for dancing, yada yada yada - I could go on for days obvs 🤠🙄 they’re all in the playlist Gold Rush, link in bio as per usual 🌝
going into 2021 like my niece’s art 💛🔮 1) fearless, loud, chic 2) channeling my third eye although technically it’s a bump (correction made by the artíst)
We all know this year was shit for pretty much everyone but on this last day of it I’m also feeling heaps of gratitude, humility and inspiration for all the people, music and communities that have emerged from the dystopian desert that was 2020. I hate New Year’s Eve, always have, but I love starting new things. 2021 going in with the moon in cancer 🌝 this should be fun 💚 thanks for sticking with me
As a holiday treat I’ve made a new special playlist with a wide variety of favorites; favorite breakup song, favorite happy song, favorite song to sing at a wedding and so on, a list that could go on forever.. I’ll explain each one in an interview I did with Kate and Grace from Autonomy, where I also have a little cocktail workshop to get in that festive spirit 🥃 Watch the first part now on Youtube to learn how to make a Gold Rush 🌟 and check out the playlist before part II comes out. Link in bio 🌝
spotify wrapped blah blah blah 🍏 my 2020 musical high-notes include getting this hand-drawn ltd edition cassette in the mail by @ossianekenger who makes the most brilliant songs that u can’t hear on spotify. But head to @sederochljung to find some of it. algorithms make me depressed but this stuff makes me happy.

haiiiii ppl of the world where Trump is no longer president but things are still _problematic_af_ (as if anyone needs a reminder of that?? looking at you 👁) On an entirely different note I just started a #sheshreds 30-day-challenge with a friend and fellow guitarist to write a little something every day for a whole month, even when (or especially when) there is no time or inspiration. thank u @sheshreds_media for this v v useful tool to get shit done. tiny song babies are being born.

This song is one of mixed emotions. That frustrating feeling of being stuck for what feels like and eternity, torn between resignation and struggling to break free. Me and photographer @vilma.eks hijacked a boat down by the beach in my neighborhood for the lyric video. It’s been there all summer, I think it might be abandoned so it felt good to put it to use, even if it didn’t actually get to go in the water (a suitable analogy for the emotive state of the song).
